We are super proud at CCC to be able to now offer funded entry fees and gear hire for up to two people at each of our indoor peer to peer session.

Life is full of barriers, and CCC’s aim is to create inclusive and non-judgemental spaces where people can support each other with their mental wellbeing. Climbing is expensive, so access to our spaces has barriers, and reducing them is essential in our aim.

These entries are bookable via our website the same as all other entries and are trust based. We hope that people will use them fairly and allow them to be used by people who can not afford to access climbing.

We are offering this first with at Redpoint Bristol Climbing Centre and will be rolling it out for sessions at The Climbing Academy‘s The Mothership as soon as possible. This has been made possible by a funding grant from the Bristol Redistro. However, this will only last so long, so moving forward, we will also be relying on donations.

We have set up a donation payment on our website, so if this is something you would like to support, you can make a one-off or regular donation. Just the cost of one entry could help someone access our space and the joy of climbing.

We have been wanting to offer financial support since our conception. However, we know that offering support is only half the story. The other half is ensuring people who would like to access climbing but can not due to cost it know this is here. So please share if you can.
