Guidelines

Our indoor climbing sessions are not facilitated by trained climbing instructors; they take place in a public area and all persons participate at their own risk. Likewise, our volunteer facilitators are not trained mental health professionals; they do not give advice but hold space for you to connect, share and support one another.

Sessions are held within climbing gyms and participants should follow the health and safety guidelines of the gym. The climbing gyms are not climate controlled and can get hot in the summer and cold in the winter, wear suitable clothes and bring enough water.

Each session will start with a warm up. This is a space for introducing the session and getting to know each other whilst warming up our bodies. We will always end with a warm down and check out.

If there are any questions, specific requirements or worries, always talk to a facilitator or contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.

Everyone is responsible for creating an inclusive space, and we expect every participant to show collective respect.

Finally, CCC is a registered non-profit CiC. We operate in accordance with our Terms of Reference. To read our terms of reference please access it here.
