Freqently Asked Questions

Who can attend a CCC session?

CCC sessions are open to anyone, climbers and non-climbers. Each session will be run by two trained facilitators with eight slots for attendees. It is not important to us where you are on your journey with mental health, just that you are interested in listening to talking about it.

Do I have to speak about my mental health?

Our sessions are here to allow people to share about their personal mental health and experiences, but also listen to others. No attendee has to share, we welcome people to participate at any level they are comfortable with.

What is peer-to-peer support?

Peer support is defined – the mutual act of persons with lived experience sharing their story, knowledge, and giving emotional support, to others dealing with similar trauma or situations. We listen and share our experiences to better our lives.

What can I expect from a CCC session?

Our sessions will last two hours, starting with a warm up, for our bodies to climb, and minds to talk. We finish with a warm down, to relax our bodies and collect our thoughts. But for the majority, we climb, we talk and we share.
